Would You Rather - Wednesday

Last week's question pitted being able to overhear any conversation vs. having the ability to take back anything you say. Not surprisingly, the comments were split evenly down the middle. Either choice, in and of itself, could prove to be a great attribute, or the start down the road to madness.

Personally, I think I'd go with the ability to overhear any conversation, because sometimes I suffer strong bouts of paranoia. It would be nice to know that more than half the time I really am just . . . paranoid. As for the rest of the time, well, at least then I'd know who to hate.  ;o)

Now moving on to this week.

If you were immortal, would you rather . . . .?

A) Live one, long continuous lifetime  (eternal)

or

B) Live several shorter lifetimes, with no memory of the previous one  (reincarnated)

Today is Wednesday, which means, if you are so inclined you should swing by Shannon McMahon's blog and help a fellow writer with their Anonymous Critique.

Oh, this is a tough one. If I don't remember (like in Fallen), then there's no point. But eternity is a long time. I'd better have some friends and wonder mate along for the ride. I think I'd pick A.

Make me a vamp. No seriously. Vamp me.

Definitely eternal, er - no, wait. That would get boring eventually, crap. I can't decide!

Number two!

Ooh, the choices...I'm not sure. Hmmm...I'm thinking eternal. Heck, I really wouldn't want to go through the teen years more than once.

I think I have that second one already....:)

Um, can I be reincarnated with the memory of my previous lives? Because that would be my choice! As it is, I'd probably pick #2.

What if #2 is already what happens? Totally possible. Given that choice, #2 all the way. It would be cool if shreds of your former lives were with you and you could investigate it. Maybe leave little clues behind for yourself, no big mystery though, just play a joke on yourself. :)

#1 would get pretty boring...but #2 doesn't really count as being immortal because you can't remember anything. I agree with Kindros, it's entirely possible that happens already.

I'd pick #2 though.

Definitely #1, as long as there was variety in my settings. Sorta depends on the quality of my current and only life!

The first one. If I had enough time my plans to take over the world would eventually come to pass somehow.

if I'm reincarnated as something cool and not some kinda snail then b)

Eternal! I would so much rather be able to remember my long life than live a billion times and have no idea. Gosh...I would be SO pissed if I had to do high school all over again!

I so want to have one long continuous lifetime!
