Would You Rather - Wednesday

**** If you missed it, don't forget to check out February's Book Club selection****

Alright, I confess, I knew last week's question -- about whether its better to love or be loved -- was going to be a toughie. Personally, I thought I'd been going a little easy on you guys with a few of the previous questions.

Some of you manned up & answered. Some of you gawked & went away speechless. Some of you even, dare I say, grumbled at me.

For what it's worth, I really respect those of you who chose the sadistic tough road of putting yourself through the agony disappointment of loving someone you can never have. I say this as someone who completely understands what it's like and agrees that . . . there is no fecking way in hell I'd voluntarily go down that path!

That's right, I'm hanging out with the "better them than me" crowd. I happen to be just narcissistic enough that I often develop deep affection for people who adore me.  So while it may never be a true, all-encompassing, passionate type of love, I could learn to make a comfortable life with someone who worships the ground I walk on.

I'm going easy on you guys this week:

If your life was patterned after a sitcom, would you rather it be. . . ?

A)

or

B)

B. It would be much less of an adjustment.

Definitely A. But not their real lives. Most of the girls' real lives suck. And even though Seinfeld and Elaine's relationship was pretty cool, I still loved the friendship between the Friends crew.

Candyland said...

Yes, I agree with Dan. I am much more Seinfeld already.

Thank god I missed last week. That would have been way too personal for me.

For today's I want to say Friends, for the hot chicks, but that's not very realistic and besides, beauty is only skin deep. I would much rather have a real circle of friends, like the people in Seinfeld, who actually stuck by you and had deep and interesting lives.

Well, I'm more like Seinfeld, but I'd rather be Friends. ;-)

Seinfeld is funny, but I'd rather be in a Friends life. At least good things happen to that crowd! And they all look pretty decent too. ;)

** And I like the toughies!

Seinfeld!!! :o) hehee

Friends!!!

And don't worry, I like your hard questions. They make me think! And I too usually end up adoring people who love me ;)

Friends all the way.

Seinfeld. I would love to be that cynical all the time and get away with it.

Friends all the way! I was just saying how I missed that show yesterday. It made me laugh and cry. I want friends with such loyalty as these six. Seinfeld (Sorry in advance) was a terrible show. It made me cringe and the jokes were so forced-never funny. So this 'would you rather' is an easy choice for me!

Great blog here, I’ll def be back! :-)

B) I want everyone around me to be pretty. Also I want to know people will always laugh at my jokes no matter how not very funny they are.

This one is tougher for me then the last one. I guess Friends. /shrug

I didn't watch either, sorry, lol.

Hello fellow crusader, I loved both series ... would choose Friends ... am enjoying Matt LeBlanc on Showtime's new sitcom called Episodes. You don't realize how handsome Matt LeBlanc is, until you see him now, on this show.

Friends. I love that show :)

Seinfeld, no question about it. I need to hang out with people as neurotic as I am.

Terry Towery said...

Seinfeld. I'm far too neurotic for Friends.

Meredith said...

I have always, always wanted my life to be like Friends. I would want to be Rachel, but I'm really Monica, which is not fun at all. :)

Definitely FRIENDS :-)

Creepy Query Girl said...

FRIENDS:) definitely.

I have enough insanity in my life already! I'd pick A.

Oh, gosh, I've lived so many Seinfeld episodes it's not even funny...a show about nothing and tons of coincidences pretty much sums up my life, LOL! :D

Er, not that there's anything wrong with it. ;)

Lisa Gail Green said...

LOL - I'd rather A, but B is a lot closer. Yikes!

Lindz Pagel said...

B. My life is practically already there. Serenity now!
