Would You Rather -- Wednesday

(CONTEST ALERT:  David Powers King -- who bears a resemblance to Joshua Jackson of the Dawson's Creek fame -- is having a Candy Princess Monster book giveaway, celebrating reaching100 followers. I decided to be nice and share, plus it gets me another entry in the contest to mention this. So go check it out. David's a good guy and I'm pretty sure he doesn't bite)

Last week: You guys were asked to choose whether you'd rather play the role of Hero, Big Bad or Sidekick with personality.

The hands down winner was the VILLAIN. The majority of you, it would seem, would rather play the role of . . .

Misery -- Every Writer's Greatest Fear
OR
Ever Dance With the Devil in the Pale Moon Light? (RIP Heath)

Me, I'd rather be the one who gets all the killer one-liners! That's right, I wanna be . . .

The Duck Man

So for this week's burning question:

Your trying to promote your latest release and your publisher books you a gig on celebrity challenge reality TV show, would you rather be on . . . ?

A)  The Amazing Race

or

B)  Dancing With the Stars

Amazing Race sounds like a better fit for me, with the traveling and challenges. Unless I got to dance with Cheryl...

Hmmm....the Amazing Race. I can't dance to save myself....two left feet and I always want to lead! Sigh. I can't seem to help myself! (:

Definitely The Amazing Race

I'd have to be on Amazing Race so my sisters could meet PHIL, who's the only reason they watch the stupid show.

I watch The Amazing Race and I'm not foolish enough to want to put myself through that. That leaves Dancing with the Stars. I could lose a few pounds, anyway!

I pick Amazing Race. With my multiple language skills and great navigation, I'd rock. *grins*

Summer Frey said...

Aw man, can I do both?!?! :) Okay, I know that's against the rules...

Whew, tough decision. I love to dance and would enjoy learning with professionals...but I also love to travel...

Okay, I think I'd choose DWTS. Yeah.

Oh man, I've never seen either of these, but I hear Amazing Race is pretty cool, so I'm picking that.

Amazing Race hands down! They get to go to so many places! Sure it would be tough, but I think it would be a riot!! :D

Am I the first to say Dancing With the Stars?? I would love to be taught dance from such amazing instructors! The lights! Pressure!

Dancing with the Stars, DEFINITELY! I love to dance, and while The Amazing Race is fun to watch... yeah, I don't think it's really my thing!

I've never seen either of these shows, but wanted to say how fun this post is. Good job and Happy Blogging.

Oh that is a really tough one. I've only watched them both a few times, and altho I LOVE dancing, I'd be all over the Amazing Race. I got jealous just watching those contestants on their quests. That's my kinda challenge!

The amazing race seems a lot more fun and I'd love to do the challenges!

I've seen only bits and pieces of these shows, but I think I'd pick the Amazing Race. I'd get such better stories from that than from dancing!

Tough... I love dancing, but am not that great at it. Don't know a lot about Amazing Race, but I think I'd go with it.

Ohh. I don't watch either. I'm going to pick Dancing. Maybe I'd learn some grace and balance for once!

Jeigh said...

Amazing Race for sure! I want to go on that show anyway.

Dancing with the stars. People won't see my horrible reactions to bad drivers of the world. LOL.

World-tramping is far more interesting then watching has-been stars parading around. Amazing Race, hands down!

Amazing Race, but I'd still probably have a panic attack and lose the first round. :)

I'm sure no dancer, but I love to travel. I think I'd do very well on The Amazing Race.

Hmm... well, I'm not good enough of a dancer, but 'The Amazing Race' looks like it might be fun - seeing lots of fantastic places, and rushing to figure out a way to get somewhere on time. That could be a dream adventure vacation, unless it gets to suck too much.

I'm starting up a 'Critiquing Crusaders' program, where participants in the Second Crusade can find other writers to exchange critiques with or form critiquing circles. If you're interested, come by The Kelworth Files to check it out!
